The timeshare king

If you live in Florida or have come to Florida you have heard of Westgate timeshares. They were the biggest timeshare company in the world with 28 resorts around the country.
I recently watched a documentary about him and his company.
David Siegel was the brains behind this company and was once almost a billionaire because of it.

As the documentary started it shows us that they were building the biggest home in America. He is married to his third wife and their seven children. They had private jets, limos, housekeepers, nannies and a lavish lifestyle beyond what us “normal” people could ever imagine.

As I’m watching this I can’t believe how some rich people live. They were like hoarders, things and things all over with price tags still on them. They just let the dogs shit all over the house just expecting their staff to be human pooper scoopers. I honestly can’t imagine that people, especially rich people live that way. They only cared about material things and the image that they portrayed to the world.

But sometimes when you live big, you are also in a situation to lose big as well.
With the crash of the market, his business crashed as well. This was right after he built one of the biggest time share places on the Vegas strip, here came the crash. He owed the banks on that one and many other banks on his other properties.

Suddenly life changed for them, but his wife kept spending as if money was still growing on their trees.
They started losing properties, they couldn’t finish their house and they had to downsize. Oh my God! Imagine picking up your own dog shit, how horrible! Or worse yet flying on a commercial flight..yuggh.
Welcome to the world of real people!

I couldn’t feel sorry for them as much as I tried. As I thought about all those poor people they scammed to buy these timeshares that made them rich. These are the people I felt sorry for, losing their hard earned money, living for that one week a year vacation and now not even getting that.
They never spoke of them, only how “hard” their lives were which is a million times better than most average people. Please my heart is bleeding for you…Not!

So today my friends let us learn a lesson here, there is always karma for your actions. You can’t scam millions of people for years for your own gain and then cry poor me when karma comes to bite you in the ass.
Remember we all reap what we sow.
