Traveling again

So if you follow me you know that my favorite thing to do is to travel. I will bring my own lunches everyday to work, I will only order out once a week, I will bargain shop anyone’s pants off just so I can save money to travel.  I tell people all the time who say in that voice “Oh must be nice..”

It is, when you do it the way I do. I pay all my bills on my credit cards and pay them off at the end of the month just to get points to travel.

Hey, you got to pay bills anyway so you might as well get something for them and besides it makes my credit score better. 

The year before Covid I had 90,000 points to spend so my bucket list was one vacation a month for 12 months.  It was amazing! I traveled all over the world. 

Lately I’ve been traveling for my business. I own a professional organization and personal assistant business and my clients fly me all over to help them organize their homes or help them set up their Airbnb’s.

This morning I am off again to one of my favorite places, North Carolina to set up yet another Airbnb. And let me tell you there is better than to travel for free! Clients pay for my airfare, my rent a car and my services, and yes, I know that I am blessed. 

There is also nothing better than to do something that you love to do for amazing people. 

After I’m done for the day I get to explore wherever I am, to see the sites, try new foods and meet new people. 

I really should have been a flight attendant but years ago I was a white knuckle flier. Jumping out of a plane sure as hell cured that fear.

I’m already planning my next trip because traveling is my passion. Hey, some people spend their money on fancy clothes or shoes or purses. Some people like fancy cars or fancy dinners. We all put effort and money into what we love. I happen to love traveling.

So today my friends remember life is too short to say one day… we are not all guaranteed a one day.  We have today…so live your best life and never have any regrets. When I go I will go screeching into my grave  screaming what a frigging ride! 

Until then I am off again!
