Standing in alignment 

Sometimes things are not going right because you are not standing in alignment with God’s word. 

We must know our place, there is God, his son and the holy spirit and then we come. 

Sometimes we think we know better than God and want to stand in front of him.

Sometimes we forget that Jesus died for our sins, and that we are forgiven and we want to be in that place. Sometimes we don’t listen to the holy spirit because we think we know better and want to stand in front of him.

But we all must be in alignment with God and know our place. We must listen to God’s Word, we must remember what Jesus taught us and we must always listen to the voice of the holy spirit as that keeps us safe and sound.

We are humans and we think we know it all, we have all the answers and don’t need to stand in line. That is when life will throw you curveballs, will knock you down and you will learn the hard way what your position is.

I remember thinking I was good with God, I didn’t need a middle man, I didn’t need a church but when I yet again hit rock bottom, I knew I needed God and yes, I needed a place to go with other believers to help me along my journey.

Look, some people may never need that and good for you. I never try to preach my religion to anyone. Whatever gets you through your day, whatever works for you, good for you. I just let others know what worked for me, what got me to this place of peace and joy. 

I know personally for me I need church like I need water. I need to hear testimonies, I need to feel the holy spirit, I need to hear the word and most times it is definitely something I am dealing with and here comes the answer in a sermon.

So today my friends remember we have to be in alignment with God. We have to put our egos away and know that he knows best. We have to listen to what they are trying to teach us. I always say not why are you doing this to me but what am I supposed to learn from this? There is always a lesson if you look for it, you just have to be in alignment.
