Making horrible decisions
So there are times in our life as people that we make really horrible decisions. We women seem to do this alot maybe it’s because we are brought up to nurture others so we try to see the best in people even when it’s hard. Sometimes it’s because of the fact that we were in bad marriages so we wanna feel better about ourselves. Maybe we’re so desperate for the love that we didn’t get in a previous relationship that sometimes when we meet somebody that has charisma or that we’re sexually attracted to we lose our minds.
We get taken in by the love bombing, or maybe it’s the lifestyle. Somebody we’re not used to dating before, it’s exciting and before we realize it and realize that this person it’s not who we thought they were, we are star struck. At that point you’re already sucked in, you have time invested and maybe even your heart invested.
But here’s a thing, instead of beating yourself up, instead of feeling bad because of the choices we made, we must remember that we are all here to learn lessons. This is your lesson if you choose to learn from it.
Look, sometimes things we did when we were in our 20’s, we would never think about doing today. Those were lessons that we learned not to repeat. We shouldn’t beat ourselves up because all through life we are learning and growing.
As women, we need to know how to set boundaries and be okay doing that. We need to know what is acceptable and what we will not put up with. We need to realize that who we bring into our lives affects our children and affects our self-worth.
They need to bring more to the table than just their dicks. And you need to make sure that they do. Know what you bring to the table and stand firm in knowing your worth.
So today my friends, remember we all make mistakes. We all do stupid things, chose the wrong people but what’s so great about this life is you get to change anything. You get to learn the lesson and walk away, and even if you’re like me and need to learn the lesson two or three times, it’s okay.
As long as you get it and walk away better from it.
Every day is a new day to be the change you want to see.
